Red-wattled Lapwing (Vanellus indicus). is a very common breeding resident in Haryana. This bird is found in open areas and wetlands.    Hindi name: Titahri, Titeeri    Order: CICONIIFORMES    Family: Charadriinae    Size: 33 cm

Identification: Sexes alike. A typical plover with black tipped red bil1, crimson red wattle and bright yellow legs.
