Pheasant-tailed Jacana (Hydrophasianus chirurgus) is a scarce breeding summer visitor in Haryana, (some resident). This bird is found in the wetlands.    Hindi Name: Piho    Order: CICONIIFORMES    Family: Jacanidae    Size: 40-60 cm

Identification: Sexes alike. Head, face, throat and fore neck white in breeding plumage, tail long, sickle-shaped.
