Painted Stork

Painted Stork (Mycteria leucocephala) is a common breeding resident, found in the wetlands of Haryana. Locally called Janghil or Dokh. This bird is a large stork with long yellow bill and rose pink color on the wings. Sexes alike.
Order: CICONIIFORMES    Family: Ciconiinae    Size: 95 cm
