Kentish Plover

Kentish Plover (Charadrius alexandrinus) is a scarce winter visitor and passage migrant in Haryana. This bird is found in the wetlands. Sexes alike. The males show a orange brown crown  and black patches on eyes and forehead in the breeding season.
