Great Egret (Casmerodius albus) is a common breeding resident, found in the wetlands of Haryana. Locally called 'Bada Bagla', it is a lanky snow white bird with bare black legs. Height is about 35 inches with a black or yellow black colored bill.

Order: CICONIIFORMES    Family: Ardeidae    Size: 95 cm    Food: Fish, frogs, insects, reptiles
