Common Redshank (Tringa totanus). This bird is a common winter visitor. Locally called Chhota Batan, it is found in the wetlands of Haryana. It is a large sandpiper with red legs and reddish bill.

Order: CICONIIFORMES    Family: Tringinae    Size: 28 cm    Food: insects, spiders, worms, molluscs
