Chestnut-shouldered Petronia (Petronia xanthocollis), also called Yellow-throated Sparrow, is a locally common breeding resident of Haryana. This bird, which is quite similar to House Sparrow but with a lemon yellow patch on the throat, is found in dry wooded areas.
