Bar-headed Goose (Anser indicus). This bird is a common winter visitor found in large wetlands of Haryana and nearby cultivation.  It has two distinctive black bars across its neck. This bird arrives in Haryana in October and departs by the end of March.  

Local Names: Hans, Raj Hans, Birwa and Sawan   Order: ANSERIFORMES   Family: Anatidae   Size: 74 cm
