Indian Courser (Cursorius coromandelicus) is a rare breeding resident in Haryana. This bird is found in open dry plains. Indian Coursers are declining at an alarming rate in Haryana and are now found only in dry plains of Sultanpur Bird Sanctuary. It has a striking orange-brown head with black and white stripes extending from bill to neck.
